IPFW Teams up with Big Brothers/Big Sisters for Fun
The IPFW Women's Volleyball Team hosted 16 area youth, "Littles" in the Big Brother/Big Sister organization, and its volunteers to watch the IPFW Men's Volleyball Team take on Rutger on April 15. (more)

 

Women's Volleyball Ends Spring Season with 11-2 Mark
The IPFW Women's Volleyball Team competed at Bowling Green's Spring Invitational last weekend and came away with another three wins to end its non-traditional season with a record of 11-2. (more)

Volleyball Competes at Ball State Spring Tournament
IPFW Women's Volleyball Team competed at the Ball State Spring Invitational over the weekend. The format of the tournament included a best of three games round robin between each pool. IPFW was pooled with host Ball State, Butler, and Kentucky. (more)

Souza Named College Volleyball Update National POW
Mastodons Independent Title moves them up one in Regional Rankings
The Collegiate Volleyball Update (CVU.com) is pleased to announce that IPFW junior Fabiana Souza has been selected as the CVU.com National Player of the Week for November 8 through November 14. (more)

 

Dons Win LaQuinta Independent Women’s Volleyball Championship
After a slow start on day one of the Independent Women’s Volleyball Championship, the Dons came back to take the title of champ. Junior Fabiana Souza was named MVP and seniors Lindsay Brammer and Lindi Bankowski joined Souza on the All-Tournament team. The ladies finished this season 24-10. (more)

 

Mastodons Finish Day Two 2-0
Overall 3-1 in the Championship
Day two at the LaQuinta Independent Women’s Volleyball Championship had the Mastodons with two wins over host Utah Valley State and Texas A&M Corpus Christi. In their first match the Dons beat the Islanders of TAMUCC, 3-0. In their second match, the Dons defeated the Wolverines of Utah Valley State, 3-1. (more)



Mastodons Split Day One at the LaQuinta Independent Championship
Day one at the LaQuinta Independent Women’s Volleyball Championship left the Mastodons 1-1 after matches against North Dakota State and Northern Colorado. In their first match the Dons beat the Bison of North Dakota 3-1. In their evening match, the Dons were defeated by Northern Colorado, last year’s champs, 3-1. (more)

Valpo Snaps Streak
The top team in the Mid-Con wanted no part of being IPFW's 20th victim of the 2004 season. Valparaiso raised its own record to 23-4, with a 3-0 win over the Mastodons, Wednesday night at the Athletics-Recreation Center. (more)

 

Volleydons Dig and Block way to Win #19
Defense…defense, and a little more defense. That was the formula for win number 19, Friday night, against Chicago State. IPFW topped its season high in digs, and was one short of the season high for blocks, in a 3-1 win over the Cougars. (more)

On the strength of a 3-0 win over Bowling Green in the finale of the Northwestern University Labor Day Invite, IPFW head women's volleyball coach Kelley Hartley Hutton has recorded 100 wins at the helm of the IPFW program. (more)

Volleyball Travels to Northwestern
Hurricanes in Florida...no problem. The IPFW women's volleyball team, has found competition this weekend after the cancellation of the Central Florida Tournament. IPFW will now travel to Evanston, Illinois for the NU Labor Day Invite hosted by Northwestern University.(more)
