Hartley Named “Independent Coach of the Year”
On the strength of the Mastodons’ 22-10 season, IPFW head women’s volleyball coach Kelley Hartley has been named the Independent Coach of the year, in voting conducted by the Independent women’s volleyball coaches. (more)

Northern Colorado wins 2003 Independent Tournament
The Mastodons finished the 2003 women’s volleyball season, Saturday night, with a dominating performance in the last game of the Division I Independent Tournament. The ‘Dons blanked the University of Texas-Pan American 3-0. (more)




Northern Colorado Snaps the Streak
The IPFW women’s volleyball team did something on Saturday that they hadn’t done since October 4th. They lost a match. The Mastodons twelve game winning streak was stopped by the Northern Colorado Bears at the Independent Division I Women’s Volleyball Tournament. (more)



Mastodons Winning Streak Grows to Twelve
The nightcap of the 2003 Division I Independent Volleyball Tournament saw the IPFW Mastodons run their current winning streak to twelve, with a 3-0 win over Texas A&M Corpus Christi.

IPFW's 11th Straight Win
The IPFW women’s volleyball team won their 20th game of the season today, defeating Utah Valley State College, 3-1, in the second match of the 2003 Division I Independent Tournament at IPFW. (more)




Mastodons Hold Off Toledo For 10th Straight
They didn’t have their “A” game tonight, but when it came down to crunch time, the IPFW women’s volleyball team got it done. They defeated the very game Toledo Rockets Tuesday night at Gates 3-2. (more)




Nine is Just Fine for Mastodons
Sophomore Fabiana Souza (MB/Belo Horizante, Brazil) blasted home a match high 23 kills in leading IPFW to a 3-1 win over Oakland University, on Wednesday night at the Gates Center. (more)




Volleyball Runs Winning Streak to Eight
After getting off to a slow start in game one, the IPFW women’s volleyball team got on track and stopped the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay by the final of 3-1. (more)

The IFPW women's volleyball team made it a clean sweep of Texas on Sunday afternoon, beating the University of Texas Pan-American, in a very close match, 3-2. (more)



Volleyball Has Twice the Fun in Texas
The IPFW women's volleyball team enjoyed their accommodations at the Holiday Inn-Emerald Beach Roundup, hosted by Texas A&M Corpus Christi. The Mastodons didn't give up a game, beating Alcorn State and host TAMUCC 3-0 on Saturday. (more)

The Ohio University Bobcats beat IPFW, in the second match of the 2003 IPFW Invitational, tonight by the final of 3-0.




Mastodons Hold Off Bulldogs
The IPFW Women’s Volleyball home opener, against Butler University, looked like a walk in the park for two games, but turned into a dog fight. In the end, the Mastodons had just enough to get past BU 3-2.(more)




Women's Volleyball Just Short in Championship
Two points separated the IPFW women’s volleyball team from the Championship of the Central Michigan “Super 8 Classic”. The Mastodons fell in five games, in the final match, to eventual champion Wisconsin-Green Bay, Saturday night in Michigan.
