While
at Yavapai
Pletková excelled
on and off the court while at Yavapai J.C. She was the captain from
2003-05 and her freshman year they went 21-10.
Sophomore year they improved to 26-5. Both years Yavapai was
nationally ranked and had win streaks of 10 and 14 gamesrespectively.
In conference action they were second to Central Arizona College,
who were the national champions. Off the court, Pletková was
in Yavapai's Honor's Program and held a 4.0. She graduated
with honors and received an Associate of Science degree with
her focus on electrical engineering. Pletková was
the associate concertmaster in the Yavapai Symphony Orchestra
and plays the
violin.
Prep
Pletková was
a National Achievement Commended Scholar while at Lake Braddock
Secondary in Burke, Virginia.
Personal
Born October 13, 1982. Pletková is
the daughter of Radovan Pletka and Christine Pletková.
She has two brothers, Radovan Jr. and
Petr. Pletková is
majoring in electrical engineering at IPFW.
