2003–04 Season
Boyd averaged 2.6

2002–03 Season
Boyd averaged 1.3 points and 1.0 rebounds per game…She

Before Coming to IPFW
Boyd is a three-year varsity basketball
letterwinner. She helped her team to two regional championships
and two trips
to the Class
2A Final Four. She has numerous team awards, including a pair of
Mental Attitude Awards
and Most
Improved Player. Boyd also holds the school record for
blocks in the season with
an impressive
131. She was named to both South Bend Tribune’s All-Area
team and Post
Tribune’s All Area team. Boyd has also been successful in the classroom,
where she
graduated with a 3.8 GPA and in the top 10 percent of her class,
including an Academic Honors
Diploma.
Personal
Born April 17, 1984. Boyd is a math education major. She
is the daughter of the Rev. Michael and Ida Boyd and has a brother,
John.
