Lewis-Carlisle Named Player of the Week

Fort Wayne , IN - Johnna Lewis-Carlisle was named the Independent Player of the Week for the week of February 27th as voted on by Independent sports information directors.

Lewis-Carlisle averaged 21.5 ppg and 6 rpg last week as the 'Dons went 2-0 with wins over Utah Valley State and Texas A&M Corpus Christi. Lewis-Carlisle went 13-35 from the field for the week and 9-11 from the line. She also added four assists, a block and four steals.

Against Utah Valley State, Lewis-Carlisle scored a game high 26 points, hitting all free throws (7-7) and going 3-9 from long range.

Against Texas A&M Corpus Christi, she hit 5 of 13 from the arc, and was 50% at the line (2-4), putting up 17 points.
