Bibbs Finishes Career with Double-Double

Orem, UT – Senior Verea Bibbs finished her career at IPFW with a double-double at the Independent Tournament versus Savannah State on Saturday afternoon. The Dons finished the Tigers 60-54.

Senior Verea Bibbs scored 14 points and pulled down 12 boards for the afternoon. She was 4-9 from the field and 6-8 from the charity stripe. She also had two steals and one block.

Sophomore Ashley Johnson had 13 points and was 5-6 from the field and 3-5 from the charity stripe.

Freshman Lindsey Bayer and sophomore Hilary O'Connell each pulled down six boards for the Dons. Senior Courtney Nicley stole the ball three times for her final game.

For the Tigers, Shamice James recorded a double-double with 21 points and 12 boards. Kermetris Hilll had 10 points for the game.

The Dons finished their season with a final record of 5-23. Senior Verea Bibbs finishes 4th in the record books for her career with 627 rebounds. Senior Courtney Nicley is 10th in career points scored with 1,021.
