Bibbs Takes Down 600th Career Rebound

Fort Wayne, IN – Senior Verea Bibbs took down her 600th board Saturday afternoon at the Gates Center in the Dons final regular season game. The Dons fell to the Broncs of Texas Pan American, 50-57.

The senior class led the way for the Dons. Senior Verea Bibbs (Euclid, OH/Euclid) recorded the only double-double for the afternoon with 12 point and 12 boards. Senior Courtney Nicley (Lebanon, IN/Western Boone) had 11 points and six boards. Nicley fell just 1 point shy of the 1,000 point mark in this afternoon's game.

For the Broncs, Tynesha Pierce has 14 points and Dominique Montague had twelve. Pierce and Devin Reed each put back six boards for the afternoon.

The Dons travel to Utah Valley State next week for the Independent Tournament in Orem, Utah. Utah Valley State, Texas A&M Corpus Christi, Texas Pan American, Northern Colorado and Savannah State will also be competing in the Independent Tournament.
