IPFW Falls to Wisconsin-Green Bay

Fort Wayne, IN- Nicole Soulis scored a game-high 24 points, as the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay Phoenix improved to 11-5 on the season with an 80-71 win over IPFW, Thursday night at the Hilliard Gates Center.

The Phoenix took the lead at the 16:30 mark of the first half, and never trailed again. Along with Soulis, three others tallied double figures in the game for UWGB.

IPFW was led by senior forward Amy Gearlds (Beech Grove, IN) with 19 points.

Junior center Verea Bibbs (Euclid, OH) registered a double-double with 13 points and ten boards, and junior guard Courtney Nicley (Lebanon, IN) added twelve.

The Mastodons (6-11) outrebounded UWGB 42-30 in the game, and both teams shot an identical 44.1% from the field.

IPFW returns to action on Saturday (1/24), traveling to Youngstown State University, to take on the Penguins at 7pm.
