Bibbs 23-Point Effort Not Enough

Madison, WI- Junior center Verea Bibbs tossed in a game-high 23 points tonight against the Wisconsin Lady Badgers, but it wasn’t enough, as IPFW falls to UW 75-59, at the Kohl Center.

Bibbs (Euclid, OH) was 8-16 from the field, and a perfect 7-7 from the foul line.

Senior forward Amy Gearlds (Beech Grove, IN) was the only other ‘Don in double figures with seventeen.

Wisconsin (7-7) featured three players in double figures, with guard Stephanie Rich getting the unusual double-double of 12 points and 12 assists.

With their second straight loss, the Mastodons fall to 5-10 on the season and return home Monday night (1/19) to host Chicago State in a 5pm game at the Memorial Coliseum.
