Gearlds Stays Hot in Loss to Rams

Fort Collins, CO-Senior forward Amy Gearlds continued her torrid scoring pace, ripping the nets for 23 points Friday night, but Colorado State snapped the Mastodons' 3-game winning streak with a 78-63 win.

The Rams broke open a very close five point game (35-30 half) in the second half of this one.

Five players scored in double figures for Colorado State, with Joy Jenkins' 18 points leading the way.

IPFW (5-9) got double digit scoring from Courtney Nicley (18) and Verea Bibbs (12).

IPFW will return to action Friday (1/16) at Wisconsin.
