Valpo Cruises to 26-point Win

Fort Wayne, IN- The IPFW women's basketball team fell to 1-7 on the year, with an 86-60 loss to Valparaiso, on Wednesday night at the Memorial Coliseum.

The Crusaders used a 14-0 run at the end of the first-half to build a comfortable lead, and coasted to their 4th win of the season (4-4).

IPFW was led by forward Geneva Murdock (So/Fort Wayne, IN) who tossed in a game-high 20 points. Amy Gearlds (Sr/F/Beech Grove, IN) and Courtney Nicley (Jr/G/Lebanon, IN) each had twelve.

IPFW will now be idle until hosting Utah State, at the Hilliard Gates Center, on Sunday, December 21st at 1pm.
