2003-04 Season:
Martin was redshirted for the 2003-04 season as a transfer from
Bowling Green State University.
While at Bowling Green:
Martin played in eight games and started four...She averaged
13.8 minutes per game...She made 3 of 13 field goals (.231)
and 1 of 7 from the arc (.143)... She was 6 of 8 at the free
throw line (.750)... Martin had 10 rebounds, 21 assists, 18
turnovers, and 3 steals while at Bowling Green.
Before
Coming to IPFW:
Martin was a three time All-County 1st team athlete along with
being selected to the Indianapolis Star “Super Team” (consisting
of the top eight players in the area by the coaches vote). Martin
was selected to participate in the Adidas All-American Camp (Top
100 players in the nation) which took place in Pittsburgh, PA during
her junior year. In her senior year, she was ranked 25th best point
guard in the nation by Adidas All-Star Report. In the classroom,
Martin was on the High Honor Roll all four years along with being
chosen to the Academic-All Conference team.
