Rochester,
MI- The IPFW women’s tennis team slashed their
way through the Mid-Continent Conference this weekend with
wins over the University of Missouri-Kansas City, Chicago
State, and host Oakland.
Francesca
Solari (Sr/Santiago, Chile) won all three of her
matches at #1 singles. She topped Molli Boyd of UMKC 6-1,
6-1, Edyta Urban of Chicago State 5-7, 6-1,
and 7-5, and
Brittany Maxey of Oakland 6-3, 6-1.
Solari also teamed up with Jill
Carie (Jr/Washington, IN)
to win all of their matches at #1 doubles.
Since dropping their first two matches this fall, the Mastodons
have won five straight.
