2005 Season
Connelly stepped right into the Mastodons lineup with ease. In 150 innings pitched, Connelly struck out 75 batters and compiled a 4.62 ERA. She made 30 appearances, 23 of those as the starting pitcher, finishing with a 6-18 record.
Connelly was a National Fastpitch Coaches Association Academic Scholar-Athlete for the 04-05 school year.
High
School
At Chelsea High, Connelly led the Bulldogs to two Michigan State titles. She
is a three-time All-State, All-Region, All-Conference, and All-District selection.
Connelly will be counted on heavily to pick up the pitching load with the
graduation of Mindy Pomeroy. Connelly compiled a career record of 84 wins,
six loses, and one tie. Her career earned run average was 0.50, including
a 0.17 mark in 2004. She tossed 51 shut-outs, and over three seasons
struck out 774.
