Fort Wayne, IN – Friday night marks the start of the IPFW Basketball season and with it comes Midnight Madness.

In its fifth year at IPFW, the Student Activities Board (SAB) have promised to make this the most exciting ever. SAB is bringing in nationally acclaimed act Recycled Percussion, a band that has featured on NBC’s Today Show as well as playing at many venues in the country including a packed Gillette Stadium, home of the New England Patriots.

Doors open at 10 PM this Friday Night at the IPFW Hilliard Gates Center with the show kicking off at 10:30 PM. Students, Staff as well as the Fort Wayne Community won’t want to miss any of the action.

In addition to the concert, one lucky fan will have a chance to win $10,000 and another fan will be eligible to win a two year lease courtesy of Glenbrook Dodge.

As the clock strikes midnight both the IPFW Men’s and Women’s Basketball team will take the court for the first time. Each team will compete in a three point shoot-out, eventually pairing the top women’s shooter vs. the top men’s shooter. In addition to the shoot-out each team will hold a short scrimmage giving a sneak peak of things to come.

Admission for the event is one non-perishable food item which will be collected by the United Way of Allen County.
