Earn Weekly Honors
Greeley,
CO- Senior center David Simon and freshman forward Pete Campbell
have been tabbed for Division I Independent Men's Baskeball Weekly honors,
for the week ending December 11, 2004.
Simon was named
Co-Player of the Week. He shares the honor with Sergio Sanchez of
the University of Texas-Pan American.

Simon registered a pair of double-doubles last week in a win over
Utah State (16 pts. & 10 reb.) and a loss to UTMartin (22 pts. & 14
reb.). His numbers for the week were 19.0 ppg and 12.0 rpg, with
6 blocks, and 5 assists.This was Simon’s most extensive action of
the season since returning from off-season ACL surgery. He led IPFW in
scoring both games.

Campbell was named
Newcomer of the Week.

Campbell averaged 14.5 points in IPFW’s two games last week. Campbell
scored 16 points in IPFW’s win over Utah State. He was 4-8 from behind
the arc, and grabbed four rebounds. Campbell tossed in 13 points
in IPFW’sloss to UT-Martin, shooting 5-10 from the field (3-4 on
threes), while hauling down 6 rebounds. For the week, Campbell shot
.524 from behind the arc (7-13).
