2004 Men’s Basketball Announced Final Recruit Fort Wayne, IN- The final piece of the 2004-05 men’s basketball puzzle has been put into place by IPFW head coach Doug Noll, with the signing of David Tolefree. Tolefree, a 6’2” transfer from Lakeland Community College, will shore up the perimeter position for the Mastodons and give Coach Noll an array of shooters that has been much needed. David hit 89 three-point baskets last season, but also shot 60% from inside the arc, and his assists to turnover ratio was almost 3 to 1. Tolefree (Kenosha, WI) can handle the ball in transition and is very dangerous on the break. Averaging 21.1 ppg, David brings big time credentials to IPFW along with Juco players 6'0” Ryan Baumgartner, 6'7” Quintin Butler, and 6'3” Jason Malone. Coach Noll believes that this group will make an immediate impact, and will blend well with the talent he has returning.
