31, 2004 Balanced Scoring Leads YSU Youngstown, OH - Youngstown State got double figures from four players, on the way to a 71-61 win over IPFW, Saturday at the Beegly Center. The Penguins (7-12) jumped out to an early double-digit lead, and the Mastodons, who have been playing without 60% of their scoring offense, couldn't close the gap. Junior David Simon (C/Vernon Hills, IL) had a monster game with 27 points and 17 rebounds. Senior forward Keion Henderson (Gary, IN) was the only other 'Don in double figures with thirteen. Adam Baumann and Mike Woodard led YSU with 11 points each. IPFW (3-17) outrebounded the Penguins 43-34 and shot at a higher percentage (44.1 - 43.1). IPFW continues its road trip Wednesday night, traveling to Indianapolis to take on Butler at 7:30pm.
