9, 2004 IPFW No Match For Air Force Air Force, CO - The Air Force Academy is off to their best start in the program's 48 year history. The Falcons improved to 9-2 with a 64-44 win over visiting IPFW, Friday night, at Clune Arena. With balanced scoring throughout their lineup, Air Force took a 38-23 advantage into the half. IPFW went ice cold in the second half, failing to score their first point until the 13-minute mark, as Air Force opened up a comfortable 20 point lead. The Mastodons (2-13) got 19 points and seven rebounds from junior center David Simon (Vernon Hills, IL). He was the only 'Don to score in double figures. Air Force was led by Tim Keller with 11 points and Antoine Hood with ten. IPFW returns to
action on Wednesday night (1/14), traveling to Kalamazoo, Michigan
