Portsmouth, VA– IPFW senior center David Simon has been invited to participate in the 53rd annual Portsmouth Invitational Tournament.

Only 64 college seniors have been selected to play in the P.I.T., which will be held April 6th through April 9th, in Virginia. Over 1000 former and current NBA players have participated in the P.I.T., including Scottie Pippin, John Stockton, and Ben Wallace.

During the four-day event, Simon will display his skills to over 200 NBA representatives from all thirty teams, the NBA Operations Office, and the NBA Scouting Office.

The Portsmouth Invitational is the only post-season event prior to the NBA Camp, which Simon took part in last year in Chicago.
