Before coming to IPFW: Stroud played the three-guard position for Head Coach Tim
Wolf at Martinsville High School.

In 2005, Stroud was selected All-Conference Indiana. He was also tabbed as an All-Sectional performer in 2005. He led the Artesians in scoring and three-point shooting percentage. Named The Reporter Times Player of the week three times.
