2004-05 Season:
With the Chippewas, Nelson averaged 17.0 points and 2.9 rebounds a contest. He has hit 153 three-pointers in the past two seasons, and was 16th in the Nation in '05 with an average of 3.12 triples a contest. Voted team Most Valuable Player.


2003-04 Season:
Drained 75 three-pointers, third most in CMU single season history ... ranked third in the MAC with 2.50 three-pointers per game and eighth in three-point percentage (.389) ... started 25 of 30 games played ... scored a career-high 27 points on two occasions, both Chippewa wins -- versus Evansville (2/21/04) and versus Ball State (3/6/04) ... hit five or more three-pointers in five games, including a career-high six at Loyola-Chicago (12/23/03) ... averaged 11.2 points in MAC play ... led CMU in scoring eight times ... shot a team-high .785 (51-for-65) from the line ... went 10-for-10 from the line against Evansville en route to 27 points while dishing out a career-high six assists ... pulled down a career-high five rebounds against Bradley (12/3/03) ... notched five steals against Western Michigan (2/4/04).


2002-03 Season:
Played in 31 games ... averaged 2.4 points and 0.9 rebounds per game ... led the Chippewas in scoring with a season-high 13 points off the bench in road loss at DePaul (11/30/02) ... scored 11 points in road win at Bradley (12/18/02) ... averaged 2.1 points and 0.9 rebounds in MAC action ... nailed 16 three-pointers on the year.
