Before coming to IPFW:
Esseghir played both the power forward, and center spotsnfor Head
Coach Derrik Worrels last season
at Hillsborough Community College in Tampa, Florida. Esseghir helped the Hawks
to an overall record of 19-13 in 2004-05. As a prep, he played for coach Phil
Helmuth at the IMG Academy, graduating in 2003. He was named the Blazer’s team
MVP in both 2002 and 2003.
