2004-05 Season:
Hawkins scored a season-high 14 points agains Grand Valley State on Homecoming Night. Was perfect from behind the arc in four contests in 04-05, 3-3 vs. Grand Valley State, 2-2 vs. Texas A&M Corpus Christi, Utah Valley State, and Maine. Had a season-high eight rebounds on two occasions, 11/11/04 vs. George Mason, and 1/15/05 vs. Youngstown State. Hawkins averaged over 23 minutes a game in 04-05, starting 17 of the 29 he appeared in. A consistent shooter, he shot over 43 percent from three-point range, and over 44 percent from the field.


2003-04 Season:
Hawkins played in 27 of the Mastodons’ 28 games his freshman campaign. Averaged 2.1 points per game to go along with 2.1 rebounds per contest. Hawkins main roll was as a defensive stopper. Consistently drew the assignment of putting a blanket on the opposition’s scoring threat. Registered a season-high 13 points and eight rebounds against Tri-State. Handed out a season-high three assists against IUPUI.


Before Coming to IPFW:
Justin was named All-NECC in 2001, 2002, and 2003. Named All-Area and Academic All-State in his senior season at Garrett High School.
