Bryson and Ernest Henebry Scholarship
For an agriculture/forestry student with at least a 2.5 GPA and a minimum of 20 credits earned at IPFW. Named in honor of Bryson and P. Ernest Henebry, former president of the Allen County Commissioners instrumental in leasing the thirty-two acre Coliseum Farm to 4-H clubs for development of a county park and recreational center.
Emil Richard Seidel Scholarship
Partial support for tuition and fee to a full-time student with a 3.0 GPA or better who is majoring in an area associated with production, processing, or marketing of food and/or plant or animal products. Endowment honors the self-educated, long-time Allen County resident, raised as an orphan in Germany, whose lifetime was committed to contributing to the free society that makes America a land of hope and opportunity.
Leo and Jack Jehl Memorial Scholarship
For older nontraditional student in premedical options demonstrating excellent scholarship and potential for service to others, in tribute to Jack Jehl, a premedical graduate of IPFW ('88) who terminated a successful business in construction in his mid-30's to complete his degree and be admitted to medical school. He died from cancer before he was able to begin his medical education.
