Scholarships

Anne M. Balentine Foundation Scholarships

Tuition reduction for junior and senior speech and hearing therapy majors who demonstrate meritorious scholarship and a career interest in working with persons with multiple disabilities. Foundation established by Mr. and Mrs. Conrad Balentine of Bluffton, Indiana, honors their daughter, Anne, who is severely disabled. An appropriately inscribed plaque hangs in the AUS department office.

Downtown Sertoma William Doctor Scholarship

Tuition reduction for a speech and hearing therapy major who demonstrates scholarly achievement and financial need. Provided by the Downtown Sertoma Club of Fort Wayne in honor of its deceased founding member/officer. An appropriately inscribed plaque hangs in the AUS department office.

Psi Iota Xi - Delta Gamma IPFW Speech/Language/Hearing Scholarship

Tuition reduction for a full-time junior or senior SPHT major with a high GPA. Provided by the members of the Delta Gamma Chapter (Fort Wayne) of Psi Iota Xi, a national philanthropic organization with interest primarily in issues and activities-related to communication disorders. An appropriately inscribed plaque hangs in the AUS department office.
