Floyd R. Neff Scholarships
For IU students completing an IPFW degree with a GPA of 3.5 or higher and financial need. Names engraved on a plaque displayed in the Thelburn L. Engle (1938-1972) Arts and Sciences conference room. First awarded in 1978. Previous recipients have been majors in anthropology, English, French, geology, German, history, political science, sociology, and Spanish. Endowed by the son and daughter of the late director of Indiana University at Fort Wayne (1918-1951)
Robert E. Wise Scholarships
Two scholarships, one awarded to a student in Biology, Chemistry, Mathematical Sciences, or Physics, the other to a student in Audiology and Speech Sciences, Communication, Philosophy, or Psychology, with GPA of 3.5 or higher and with a minimum 60 credits in IPFW Arts and Sciences courses. Name engraved on a plaque displayed in the Thelburn L. Engle (1938-1972) Arts and Sciences conference room. Endowed by the professor emeritus of physics (1948-1982).
Van Coufoudakis Scholarship
Awarded to a student majoring in the humanities or social sciences who has completed at least 30 credit hours in A&S with a cumulative GPA average of 3.50 or higher. Endowed by gifts to honor Van Coufoudakis, Professor emeritus of Political Science and Dean Emeritus of the College of Arts and Sciences.
