Student Opportunities

Study Abroad

Few students on campus seem aware of the marvelous possibilities for study abroad that their university affiliation presents them. Indiana University and Purdue University together offer over 400 overseas study programs. Some of these require language study and language prerequisites; others are entirely in English. So whether you are a polyglot or not, you should be able to find a program suited to your major and personal interests.

Would you like to soak up the Bohemian atmosphere of Montmartre while sitting at a café on a summer evening? Or how about hiking the Alps in the fall amidst brilliant foliage and snow-capped peaks?  Perhaps visiting the pyramids and Sphinx in Egypt is your long-cherished dream, or maybe it’s seeing the Incan ruins of Peru.  Maybe you would like to witness the modern-day transformation of China firsthand, or perhaps take a jeep ride through the Australian outback. These kinds of opportunities and many others await IPFW students who dare to take advantage of them.
