Advising Responsibilities
The Responsibilities of the Lead Advisors
Each department in the college shall have a lead advisor. The chair may assume this responsibility or appoint another member of the department.
The lead advisors at IPFW have the following responsibilities:

To provide leadership for academic advising in their departments.

To help departmental advisors in learning degree requirements and in being able to use SIS+.

To advise the chair of any difficulties the department is having in academic advising.

To attend on a regular basis the meetings of the lead advisors.

To assume other responsibilities as determined by the chair and/or faculty in the department.
