Scholarship Fund
The Mission ....
This project is to provide financial support to IPFW Administrative/Professional staff who wish to continue their education through work-related conferences, workshops and seminars.
FYI .....
- Submission Dates: First day of January, March, May, July, September and November. The selection committee will notify applicants by the end of the month the application is submitted. Late applications will be considered at the next scheduled review date.
- Expenses will be covered up to a maximum of $200.
- Submission of an application does not guarantee funding.
- A/P staff may receive support from this program once every two years, and applications can be resubmitted if not funded on the first effort.
- Standard university travel policies and procedures will apply.

- Funding sources for the award(s) will be from proceeds received through fund raising and donations.
- All applications submitted will be considered confidential information.
How to Submit Your Application .....
- Prior to attending a conference, complete an APSAC Professional Development Scholarship Application form
Include the following info:- The explanation box must contain a short description of how the award money will be used, how it will benefit the individual or his/her department, and how it will help further other professional goals.
- The department chair must sign and indicate if any funding will be provided by the department.
- A list of professional development activities attended in the past two years.

- After completing the form, send it to the APSAC President.
How Can Funds Be Used .....
- Learning opportunities on or off campus such as lectures, conferences, seminars, workshops.
- Enrollment in certificate courses offering opportunities for professional membership, update on professional standards, etc.
