Scholarships

The IPFW Alumni Association is pleased to offer several $1,000 scholarships for the 2008—09 academic year:

  • Indiana University Scholarship
  • Purdue University Scholarship
  • IPFW Scholarship (part-time student)
  • IPFW Scholarship (full-time student)
  • IU Alumni Association Scholars Scholarship (Apply online at the IU Alumni Association Web site.)

Applications are due by March 1, 2008. Note: Applicants must have filed their FAFSA by March 1. Finalists may be asked to interview with the scholarship committee. Recipients will be notified by May 1, 2008 (the IUAA Scholarship notification date is June 1, 2008). The scholarships are not automatically renewed, but application may be made in succeeding years.

IPFW Scholarships

Two $1,000 scholarships available

(one for a part-tme student, one for a full-time student)

Apply for this Scholarship

Candidate must be:
  • An IPFW graduate or the son, daughter, stepson, stepdaughter, or spouse of an IPFW graduate.
  • An incoming freshman to IPFW or a current IPFW undergraduate or graduate student.
  • A part-time (1-11 credit hours) or full-time (12 credit hours) student.
The award is based on:
  • GPA, class rank, and SAT score if high-school senior, or
  • GPA and credit-hour load if current IPFW student

Indiana University Scholarship

One $1,000 scholarship available

Apply for this Scholarship

Candidate must be:
  • The son, daughter, stepson, stepdaughter, or spouse of an Indiana University Fort Wayne graduate.
  • An incoming freshman pursuing an IU degree.
  • A student with superior academic achievement as determined by Financial Aid.

Purdue University Scholarships

Two $1,000 scholarships available, made possible through a gift of the Carol K. Schannen estate

Apply for this Scholarship

Candidate must be:
  • The son, daughter, stepson, stepdaughter, or spouse of a Purdue University Fort Wayne graduate.
  • A full-time junior or senior Purdue University Fort Wayne student of superior academic achievement as determined by IPFW Financial Aid.

IUAA Scholarship

One $1,000 scholarship available

Apply Online

Candidate must be:
  • The son, daughter, stepson, stepdaughter, or spouse of an Indiana University graduate.
  • A permanent resident of the State of Indiana.
  • A student with a GPA of 3.00 or higher pursuing an IU degree at IPFW.
  • A student with demonstrable financial need and financial-aid application on file.
  • An incoming freshman, sophomore, or junior related to a dues-paying member of the IU Alumni Association or IPFW Alumni Association.
