Janet BellIPSGA offers free legal advice to IPFW students on matters including, but not limited to:

  • Contracts
  • Powers of Attorney
  • Simple Wills
  • Paternity/Divorce/Custody/Support Issues
  • Traffic Citations
  • Employment Matters

By contract, advice cannot be provided in the area of criminal law; nor if the matter involves a dispute between IPFW students, or the IPFW administration, staff, or faculty.

Appointments are limited to 30 minutes once each semester. To set up an appointment, call the IPSGA Office at 260-481-6586 or stop by Walb Student Union 225. To maintain confidentiality, do not discuss details your legal concerns when setting up the appointment.

Janet S. Bell is the Legal Consultant and is available to students on a part-time basis through the IPSGA Office. Prior to her appointment as the IPSGA Legal Consultant, Ms. Bell was in private practice for fourteen years, retired as a Colonel of the USANG JAG Corps after twenty-six years, and opted for early retirement as a United States Administrative Law Judge.
