The IPFW chapter of Sigma Xi is organizing Science Café events near campus!

The plan is to have a series of events where local scientists speak briefly on their work in a way accessible to a general audience, followed by question time and informal discussion groups in a café setting. This is part of a growing science cafe phenomenon. Here's more on what to expect.

These events are FREE to attend and the public is specifically invited - no science background is assumed or required.

The latest programming plans will be announced right here on this page.

To sign up for this semester's Brown Bag Series talks, or to suggest a speaker and topic for a Science Café, e-mail Adam Coffman. To nominate an external Distinguished Lecturer, e-mail Peter Dragnev.  A list of available lecturers is available on the Sigma Xi Web site.
