University Religious Forum Lecture Series

The University Religious Forum Lecture Series is a monthly lecture series on the campus of Indiana University-Purdue University Fort Wayne (IPFW) sponsored by IPFW's Campus Ministry.  This series features a monthly lecture or panel discussion on a relevant, interesting and provocative topic of interest to the campus and the community.

 The University Religious Forum Lecture Series is normally held on the third Thursday of every month during the regular school year from Noon-1:15 p.m. on the IPFW Campus in the Walb Student Union.  The URF is free to the campus and community and includes a complimentary lunch on a donation basis.  There is no need to register or RSVP for these presentations--all are welcome to attend as they have the time and the interest.

September 21st                      "Unity Begins with U"                       Walb Union, Room 126--First Floor Classic Ballroom

This will be a special talk and mini-concert by the Brooklyn band "The Bergamot" on International Peace Day.  Members of the band Jillian Speece and Nathan Hoff are long-time friends of Campus Ministry.  Don't miss this special performance/presentation.

November 16th                    "A Personal Story of the Holocaust"       Walb Union, Rooms 222-224-226

Fort Wayne resident Irv Adler shares his search for information and memories of his grandmother and other relatives who died at the hands of the Nazis during the Holocaust.  This presentation will remind us of the suffering of so many as well as inspire us to research the stories of our ancestors.
