IPFW Ambassadons

LEADERSHIP

Distinguish Yourself

Ambassadon Class of 2009-2010

In one-year appointments, Ambassadons will communicate IPFW's commitment to excellence with a variety of constituencies. Ambassadons will host VIPs at high-profile events, including Omnibus lectures and Commencement, and will interact with state legislators and community leaders. Ambassadons will reflect IPFW's distinction as the premier center for learning in Northeast Indiana.

The Office of Student Affairs created the Ambassadon program to develop student leadership, spirit, and campus pride; therefore the name "Ambassadons" was chosen to reflect the university mascot, the Mastodon.

The IPFW Ambassadons:

  • Serve as hosts and hostesses at official university events
  • Speak to university constituencies such as alumni, associates, and other friends of the university
  • Represent IPFW at various events on campus and in northeastern Indiana
  • Host public officials at campus events
  • Serve on faculty and university committees
  • Participate in leadership development programming
