First Year Program Fee

The first year program fee is a $100 one-time fee assessed to new, degree-seeking freshmen and transfer students with fewer than 15 transferred credit hours. This fee funds a number of programs for first-year students, including:

  • NSO (New Student Orientation): A mandatory program which connects new students to university life
  • MAP-WORKS: A counseling tool to promote academic success in the first year
