
Admission Requirements for Visiting Students
Temporary Students
- If you graduated high school more than two years ago and have never attended college, you may take up to 24 credits as a special nondegree-seeking adult student.
- You will need to submit an IPFW application.
- There is no application fee, and no other documentation is necessary.
- Temporary students are not be eligible for financial aid.
Guest Students
- If you want to become a visiting student from another college outside the IU or Purdue system, you may enroll temporarily at IPFW for up to 24 credits.
- You will need to submit an IPFW application.
- There is no application fee, but you are required to submit an official transcript from your home institution.
- Guest students are not eligible for financial aid.
Special College Graduate
- If you hold a bachelor's degree and wish to take undergraduate courses but do not wish to pursue another undergraduate degree, you may take up to 24 undergraduate credits as a temporary student.
- You will need to submit an Application for Undergraduate Admission.
- There is no application fee, and no other documentation is necessary.
- Special college graduates are not eligible for financial aid.
Temporary Intercampus Transfer Students
If you are currently attending (or have attended) another IU or Purdue campus, and want to transfer temporarily to IPFW, please submit the following:
- Application for Undergraduate Admission
- An unofficial transcript from your IU or Purdue campus
- Official transcripts from any colleges attended since your enrollment at IU or Purdue
- No application fee is due.
- Temporary intercampus transfer students are not eligible for financial aid.
