
Admission Requirements for Transfer Students

IU or Purdue Intercampus Transfer Students
Transfer students from within the IU or Purdue campus-wide systems are known as "intercamps transfer students" and are classified as either temporary or permanent.
Permanent Intercampus Transfer Students
If you are currently attending (or have attended) another IU or Purdue campus and want to transfer permanently to IPFW, please submit the following:
- Application for Undergraduate Admission
- An unofficial transcript from your IU or Purdue campus
- Official transcripts from any colleges attended since your enrollment at IU or Purdue
- No application fee is due.
- Permanant intercampus transfer students may be eligible for financial aid.
Ivy-Tech Transfer Students
Many of the credits that Ivy Tech students have earned can transfer as IPFW credit. Courses that do not have a direct equivalent transfer as "undistributed" credit and are noted in certain sections as "UNDI," but they may still apply toward a degree. You should consult an academic advisor for specifics. Refer to Indiana Core Transfer Library for more information on specific credit transfers.
Transfer Students from Other Colleges or Universities
If you have attended college, but not at IPFW, IU, or Purdue, and want to transfer to IPFW as a degree-seeking student, please submit the following:
- Application for Undergraduate Admission
- High school transcript or GED scores
- Official transcripts from all colleges attended
- $50 application fee
*Courses from institutions not holding regional accreditation may be reviewed by the academic department in which the course is taught.
