IPFW Course Equivalencies

Know your options.

To make transferring credit easier, Indiana has put together a Core Transfer Library (CTL). All CTL courses will meet the general education or free elective requirements of undergraduate degree programs, and a significant majority of CTL courses will also count as one-on-one equivalents to courses taught at your new campus.

IPFW is accredited by the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools, Commission on Institutions of Higher Education. We accept credits from any college or university that is regionally accredited. A grade of C- or better must be achieved in a course for the credit to transfer to IPFW.

Visit IPFW’s course equivalencies catalog at U.Select, a database of transferrable college credits. Be sure to choose Indiana as the state and always choose IPFW as the first school you select.

Please note that the system contains thousands of equivalencies and new courses are continually added. If a college or university is not listed or you cannot find a specific course, it does not mean the course will not transfer to IPFW. Your course or courses may not have been evaluated yet.

Not all courses will transfer and/or apply to every major. You must see your academic advisor for additional information about transferring credit to your chosen major. Courses listed in our catalog are not guaranteed to transfer.

Should you have further questions about transferring credit to IPFW, please contact Karolyn Smith at 260-481-6143 or smitkm@ipfw.edu.
