World Cup Fever - GO ANGOLA!

Posted: June 8, 2006

Dear Diary,
This is the weekend I have been waiting for the entire school year. It’s World Cup Season Baby!!! The greatest month in sports is about to begin, and I have a ten page research paper due on Monday, what a dilemma. Of course I’m going to do it, but it is going to be hard, especially when Angola plays on Sunday. But anyway, it is going to be fun. All of the Angolans in Fort Wayne are getting together to watch the game. It is going to be so much fun. It really doesn’t matter if we win or lose any game, although winning would be better; it is just nice going to the party.
Sincerely,
Angola Forever

Eva

Dear Diary,
This is a rejoiceful entry. Last week my poor dog,
Eva, got run over by a coward. Man, if i ever see that car again, it is
going to be a problem. Anyway, Eva got away from her leash and was running
around, she crossed the street well, but on her way back she got hit by this
white car. He drove off, and luckily she got up and ran over to me. I took
her to the vet, and the worse thing that happenned to her was some chafing
on the side of her belly. She also had a little swelling inside, but nothing
critical. I took her to the East State Veterinary Clinic where they took
great care of her. They were so amazing and Dr. Ehinger was so nice. So, at
the end of it all, Eva just got a little shook up, with no serious injuries,
and for that i am very rejoicefull for. So, from a very happy pet owner, I
will talk to you next week.

Sincerely,

Edson

My Sister

Posted: May 17, 2006

Dear Diary,
I got a wonderful surprise this weekend; I got to see my sister. She had been at the Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Business, and she came down on Friday to see me. She drove down Friday morning and left Friday night, but I missed her so much. She brought some pictures of my nephews and my niece and they are so big. I miss them so much, but hey that’s the sacrifice I’m willing to make. We went to watch the Da Vinci Code. She read the book first, so she said the movie wasn’t that good, but I liked it. It makes me think about things I never thought about before. I can’t wait for this weekend, X Men: The Last Stand. Well, that is the Edson update for this week, talk to you in seven days.
Sincerely,
Edson

End of The Year!

Dear Diary,
Thank you for another great semester. I am happy to divulge that I was able to get keep my yearly 3.0 GPA after a hard semester. Thank you, my dear diary for allowing me to take some of my frustration out on you and for giving me much needed problem resolutions. This semester has been hard work and I’m glad that it is over. We are less than 1 week away from the first summer session and I can’t wait. I will dissect another problem next week, or I might start talking about my summer tanning sessions.
Sincerely,
Edson

Spring Is Here!

Posted: April 14, 2006

Dear Diary,
What a great week we are having. Finally, the sun has decided to show his face and warm up the place. I can’t wait until summer is here. I can honestly say that it is my favorite season of the year. Swimming is the best exercise the body can receive and doing it indoors does give me the same feeling. I like to swim while the hot rays from the sun are beating on my head. So, in celebration of these last couple of hot days I propose that we all perform outdoor activities. It can range from football with your friends or a special picnic for your lady, take a chance and enjoy this great weather.

What Happened to Hollywood?

Posted: March 30, 2006

Dear Diary,
In a world of Catwoman, Dumb and Dumberer: When Harry Met Lloyd, and Gigli, good movies are hard to find. Hollywood has really lost some of its sense when they give the ok for some movies. Honestly, what was that executive thinking when he signed the order of production for Kazaam? But alas there are some good things to come out of Hollywood, like last weeks amazing film “Inside Man.” A thriller from beginning to end, which makes you think as if you were taking a test. The week before that, V for Vendetta came out. Politically, this could be a premonition of things to come. It is good to see that creativity is not dead.
