Finance Concentration

If you want to be at the heart of a business organization, are interested in financial administration, and have an aptitude for math, consider a major in business with a concentration in finance. Successful financial managers must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, knowledge of computer technology and international finance, and the ability to think creatively and solve problems.

In addition to the well-rounded business background provided by other required courses, the finance concentration gives you the opportunity to prepare for a challenging and rewarding profession in corporate financial management, commercial banking, credit institutional management, or investments.

Financial managers are found in virtually every industry. Many work in financial institutions—banks, savings institutions, finance companies, credit unions, insurance companies, securities dealers, and real estate firms.
