Biography
Dr. Steven Hanke received his D.B.A. in Accounting from Louisiana Tech University in 2008. He joined the faculty of the Richard T. Doermer School of Business and Management Sciences in 2008.
Interests and Research
Professor Hanke’s research interests include taxation (law and policy) and accounting education. His research has appeared in various publication outlets including Advances in Accounting, Journal of Applied Business Research, Journal of Financial Planning, and Practical Tax Strategies.
Dr. Hanke’s teaching interests include taxation (individual and business entities) and financial accounting. Professor Hanke emphasizes tax research and financial statement analysis.
