21st Century Scholars GEAR UP Scholarship

The GEAR UP Summer Scholarship is a grant that pays for summer school tuition and regularly assessed course fees (but it does not cover other costs such as text books or room and board). Once the student is approved he or she will receive a letter that must be presented to the summer school where courses are taken.

Applicants must be an affirmed Scholar eligible to receive the 21st Century Scholarship, be a first-time freshman, need academic assistance as evidenced by enrollment in an appropriate program, and be enrolled in summer school immediately before or after the student's first college year.
